I was born and raised in Sherwood, Oregon. My best friend and I growing up would go to a field near my home and set-up cones and just hit golf balls for hours practicing our short games and loving every minute. I have always loved golf, and I knew from an early age that I wanted to pursue a career that would keep me close to this amazing game! As such, I moved to San Diego, CA for several years where I attended the San Diego Golf Academy. I had a great experience at the Golf Academy where I learned about all aspects of a potential career in golf. Moreover, while attending the Golf Academy, I was very fortunate to also work at one of major golf manufacturing companies as a certified club fitter. After graduating, I took a position as a manager and golf professional at a local golf facility in San Diego. I have accumulated a extensive amount of knowledge during my time in San Diego both at the Golf Academy and working at local golf facilities. In 2018, I decided it was time to come home. I missed my family and friends here in the great Northwest!!

I have been fitting golf clubs professionally since 2008, and I firmly believe that properly fit golf clubs will significantly benefit every golfer. In my experience, when a golfer has been fit for the right head design, shaft, length, lie, grip and set composition they are able to optimize their ball flight, and improve their consistency and enjoyment of the game immediately.

Club fitting and seeing people improve their golf games have always been a deep passion of mine. I place a special emphasis on set composition, functional gap analysis and wedge fitting. A lot of my clients do not fully understand the different grind options, bounces, lofts, soles designs and shot opportunities that wedge provide. Overall my goal is to educate my customers about the benefits of custom fitting and golf equipment in general so they can see they can improve and enhance their enjoyment of the game.

Over the last decade and more in the golf business I have worked at several different golf facilities in Oregon and in California, I have never seen a place that has such a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for its customer like RedTail Golf Center. The technology, expertise and people are the best I have ever seen.

When I am not here at RedTail Golf Center, I spend most of my time with my family (four siblings and twelve nieces and nephews) or outside fishing and camping. I am also a big car guy. Anything from classic cars to modern sports cars, currently I have a 1970 Chevy C20 that my brother and I are restoring when we have time.
